Unfortunately we have been forced to disable pictures in Personals and if we did not comply our app would be removed from the Store. Please do not leave negative feedback because of this, as it is completely out of our control. All Craigslist apps are subject to this crackdown. We know this is frustrating but users are finding the best workaround to be emailing interesting posts to oneself using the app, then checking the links that way. Thank you for your understanding and support. The Lifelike Apps Team

To reply to a Craigslist ad from its detailed view, just tap the action icon (the one with the arrow in the box at the top left of the screen). A pop-over menu will appear with a reply button.
Lifelike Craig now supports finger gestures to add Craigslist listings to favorites or cross them off.

- To add a listing to your favorites from the list view (newspaper page showing all the listings) just circle it with your finger. You can circle either inside, on the border or outside of the listing itself and the app should recognize the gesture just fine!

- Crossing off a listing is even easier: just draw a Z with your finger inside the listing and the app will cross it off.

You\'re now ready to impress your friends with these 2 sleek gestures!

Just tap the star icon at the top of the page on iPad or in the bottom tab bar on iPhone and a menu of all your favorites will appear.
Just tap the location currently displayed at the top of the page (iPad) or in the bottom tab bar (iPhone) and it will open the location menu. From there you can add as many other locations as you need.
Just add additional locations in your location menu at the top of the page (iPad) or in the bottom tab bar (iPhone). The app will automatically search all the locations that are checked. You can check and uncheck locations by simply tapping them in the location menu.
There are a couple of easy ways to do this: You can either redo the same gesture. Circling a circled ad will uncircle it for example. You can also tap and hold an ad to pick the option you want.
You can remove saved searches by going into a category and then into the categories menu (grey box to the top left), tap Saved Searches and then tap the edit button.
Starting with version 2.1 of Lifelike Craig you will be able to circle and cross-off Craigslist listings using finger gestures in the newspaper view: To circle a listing, just circle it the way you would with a pen on a newspaper. If it doesn\'t work at first, try again without going too fast and staying relatively close to the border of the listing. The other gesture you can use is a \"Z\" gesture to cross off a listing. This should be very intuitive as well. Please let us know if you\'re having difficulties with either gestures. Enjoy!
Besides the filters that you can set in the app, here are things you can do in the search field when simple keywords don\'t find what you are looking for:

- You can use quotation marks to search for a phrase: \"low miles\"

- To specify one or more words you\'d like to exclude, use a minus sign to negate them. For example: honda black -red

- You can specify a list of terms that you want to find one or more of (instead of ALL of them) using a \"pipe\" character \'|\' like this: honda | toyota

- Finally, you can group terms together in parenthesis when queries are complicated: red (toyota | honda) -2000 -2001

- If someone has given you the Posting ID (10 digit number), you can use that number in the search box to find the posting.

You can turn off the Search Radar feature in your settings menu (\"i\" icon at the top right on the iPad or \"Post, etc.\" and then \"Settings & Help\" on iPhone).
Sorry about that! We strive to provide the best experience to our users but all the content we display comes uncensored from Craigslist.

You can let Craigslist know about a listing that you find inappropriate, mis-categorized, or even brilliant by using the flagging feature. This feature can be accessed using the action menu at the top of the listing detail page.

Some of the images that people attach to their Craigslist ads don\'t have a sufficient resolution to be displayed in zoomed-in mode and for that reason appear blurry in gallery view. This app will always display the best possible rendering of each image but is of course limited by the quality and resolution of the original images!
The app uses the iPad\'s auto-location feature to set your Craigslist home location but that doesn\'t work 100% of the time. If you need to tweak that, you can always tap the location displayed at the top of the page (iPad) or using the icon in the bottom tab bar (iPhone) to access the manual location menu. From there you can add as many other locations as you need and browse their Craigslist content.
Some listings with images don\'t actually have their images attached to Craigslist and are instead showing a web page of the ad. For example, car dealers tend do that a lot. In this case, the app does not show the images in gallery view BUT you can un-pinch/pinch to zoom in and out of the images.
This means that your iPad is having trouble determining your location automatically. It could happen for example if you\'ve disabled the auto-location feature of the iPad in the settings.

You can however still use the app by adding a location manually in the locations menu at the top center of the page (iPad) or in the bottom tab bar (iPhone).

When you purchase the paid version, it installs as a whole new app on your device. If you still see ads and the app is still asking you to upgrade it\'s likely because you\'re still in the free version. You should make sure you only launch the newly installed paid version from now on. Once you upgrade to the paid version, we recommend deleting the free version to avoid any such confusion.
Craigslist occasionally changes their website\'s posting workflow which can throw off our parsing of their posting pages for display inside the app. We are usually very quick to update our app when this happens however, each time we update the app it needs to be approved again by Apple, which can take a few days. Thanks for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience!
Some people have experienced this issue when first trying to download our app: The app will start downloading but stays stuck. Please be aware this is an Apple related issue as we do not control the delivery of apps (we only make apps!). However, before you contact Apple, we suggest you try this workaround:
1) delete the app
2) reboot your device by pressing the Power and Home buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the device reboots
3) reinstall again from the app store (you won\'t be charged twice)
This can happen occasionally when Craigslist changes its Terms and requires users agreeing to the new set of Terms before posting.

If this happens, just tap the \"Web View\" button at the top, then scroll down and tap Accept. An empty form might get displayed again a couple of times. Just tap Accept again until it goes away. Now go back and try to login again and things should get back to normal.

Alternatively, you can just sign in online on Craigslist.org and accept the new terms there. The app will behave normally after you do that.

This typically happens when the device can not auto-locate you. One simple workaround is to set your location manually. On the iPad, use the globe icon at the top of the screen. On the iPhone, use the location menu in the bottom left.
